You can watch me weekly on Time Warner Cable channel 10, RTN-10, in Raleigh, Knightdale, Wendell and Zebulon. Broadcasts live each Thursday from 7-8 PM and re-airs Fridays at 1 PM and Wednesdays at 7 PM.

On July 1st I discontinued my daily broadcasts on WPJL 1240-AM, Raleigh’s Christian Radio, in order to re-assess the direction that God would have me to take at this season in my life. One option is to bring together some Christian business investors to purchase a local radio station and return to the air as a station owner-operator.

Another option is to return to the traditional marketplace and secure employment in the field of Information Technology where I have several years of successful experience. Either way, my family’s financial security must be foremost in my thoughts moving forward. Tammy and I still have three young children at home and a fourth headed to UNC Greensboro in August.

Those daily radio broadcasts brought me great joy and I have no doubt that it was the Sovereign God, Yaweh, who placed me on the air for such as time as it was to take a stand in the culture war for America to return her to our Judeo-Christian heritage, values and faith. As Job said “The LORD giveth and the LORD taketh away. Blessed be the name of the LORD.”

There were many highlights during those months of broadcasting. Some of the more memorable include:

The debut program with Robert Escamilla - www.freeesco.com

Interview with Mark Mathis, Producer, Expelled the movie by Ben Stein

Three interviews with US Congressman Walter Jones

Interview with Dr. Norman Geisler, co-founder of Southern Evangelical Seminary - SES.edu

Interview with Dinesh D’Souza, NY Times best-selling author of “What’s So Great About Christianity”

Rick Green of David Barton’s Wallbuilders on our U.S. Christian heritage

Nathan Tabor, President NC affiliate of AFA (Rev. Don Wildmon), Family Faith and Freedom

“April” the former WCPSS Administration employee who shared her story of Homosexual-bias at work

Dr. Roy Cordato, Economist, John Locke Foundation

Warren Smith, Publisher, Politics in the Pulpit

Dr. Dave Johnson, Phd Apologetics

Ron Margianna, WCPSS Board of Education

Rev Dr. Bruce Grady, Shaw Divinity School

Royce Hathcock, Director, Neighbor 2 Neighbor

Lynn Daniel, Director, Raleigh Rescue Mission

Judge John M. Tyson, NC Court of Appeals

NC Senator Fred Smith

NC Senator Robert Pittenger

Colonel Dennie Nielsen

Kathleen Brennan, Director WakeCARES (on Judge Manning ruling and victory)

Chris Farr, Grassroots Coordinator, Americans for Prosperity NC

NC Representative John Blust

Robert Escamilla, victorious over WCPSS Board of Education and Sup. Del Burns

Tim Phillips, President National Americans for Prosperity

Chris Hayes, Civitas Institute

Tonya Baker-Nelson, Director Helping Hands Crisis Pregnancy Center

Some of my favorites were just days when I got to speak what God laid on my heart.

The eighteenth century Irish statesman Edmund Burke, stated why good men and women of faith must take a stand against evil: “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men (and women sic) to do nothing.” We must be stewards of all that Jesus has authority over and fight the good fight for our childrens’ sakes and the sake of freedom in America.

It was by the grace of God that I had the opportunity to give citizens like these and others the opportunity to tell their stories and talk about their ministries and organizations on WPJL 1240-AM radio. Thank you to all of my listeners and the sponsors who made it possible. By God’s grace I shall return when He is ready to raise me up again (Micah 7: 8-9).

Please stay tuned to this blog for further updates. I leave you with these words of the Apostle Paul found in Romans chapter 12, NLT:

“6 God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out when you have faith that God is speaking through you.”

For anyone with advertising dollars who is interested in sponsoring my return to talk radio, if you would just like to use your God given wealth to sponsor my show through your gifts, or if you are the owner or hiring manager of a small to medium sized IT company and would like to talk about how I can help you increase profits and market share, please contact me via email at: chuck@chuckcampbellshow.com

Turning back the clock

Political Analysis: An Obama victory, if coupled with big Democratic wins in Congress, could take the country back to 1933 | Marvin Olasky

If Barack Obama wins in November and comes in with a sizeable congressional majority, we’re likely to see, early in 2009, the most radical legislation since the New Deal. And so it’s appropriate to revisit Franklin Roosevelt’s first 100 days, which began with his March 4, 1933 inaugural. Seventy-five years ago this coming week FDR’s big push climaxed with the National Industrial Recovery Act, officially known as the Act of June 16, 1933, which established the National Recovery Administration (NRA).

…

…

Roosevelt could push through such government-growing legislation not only because of congressional dominance: Like Obama, he artfully used biblical allusions. In his first inaugural address, for example, FDR argued that America’s land was bountiful and should be productive, but the problem was that “unscrupulous money changers . . . have no vision, and when there is no vision the people perish.” Then came the good news: “The money changers have fled from their high seats in the temple of our civilization. We may now restore that temple to the ancient truths.”

The political application of these New Testament references soon became clear: Roosevelt wanted to increase federal power through “national planning for and supervision of all forms of transportation and communications and other utilities which have a definitely public character.” The era of big government had begun. Roosevelt threatened to become dictatorial if Congress balked. “I shall then ask the Congress for . . . the power that would be given to me if we were in fact invaded by a foreign foe.”

Barack Obama is following Rooseveltian rules by being mellifluous rather than strident when he calls for government expansion. FDR calmed some critics by saying, “It is wholly wrong to call the measures that we have taken Government control of farming, industry, and transportation. It is rather a partnership.” He complained of “a loss of spiritual values” in America and proposed to “add to the comfort and happiness of hundreds of thousands of people” so that they would feel more at ease and more able to spiritually soar.

…

For example, Roosevelt gave Chicago Mayor Edward J. Kelly funds that enabled him to build a subway, airport, new roads and parks, public housing projects, and 30 new schools. Since the federal government paid 88 percent of Chicago’s relief and jobs costs, the state government 11 percent and the city itself only one penny of every dollar, Kelly did not have to raise property taxes to pay for these projects. He received new terms as mayor in 1935, 1939, and 1943, and delivered Illinois to Roosevelt four times.

…

News pages, though, played up the human interest of 100,000 children assembled on the Boston Common to repeat this pledge: “I promise as a good American citizen to do my part for the NRA. I will buy only where the Blue Eagle flies. . . . I will help President Roosevelt bring back good times.”

…

MIT economist John Gruber last year confirmed that Roosevelt succeeded in having New Deal governmental programs crowd out private giving. “Church relief made up 90 percent of the income of the poor before the New Deal,” he found out: “Government relief made up 90 percent of the income of the poor after the New Deal.” Gruber found that church and charitable giving held up well in 1929 after the stock market crash and did not drop until 1933 when the New Deal began. Then and only then did church spending for charitable purposes fall by one-third.

But, due to a conservative Supreme Court, the federal government did not grow as fast as Roosevelt wished. The justices in 1935 found the NRA to be an unconstitutional depriving of liberty, and FDR temporarily backtracked—only to come out swinging in his reelection campaign. Throughout 1936 Roosevelt alternated fiery speeches with pastorals, such as the one he gave in North Carolina based on the 23rd Psalm’s teaching: “He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters.”

…

How can today’s Republicans, in their down year, preserve the checks and balances that often keep bad bills from becoming law? One way is for John McCain to win. Another way, if he seems headed for defeat, is for Republicans to stress the importance of a congressional check on presidential radicalism.

Columnist John Fund tells of what happened in 1996 when Bob Dole was clearly going to lose: “The Republican National Committee decided to take bold action by directly appealing to the public’s fondness for divided government and fear of one-party rule. . . . The announcer warned what could happen if Democrats swept the elections: ‘Remember the last time Democrats ran everything? The largest tax increase in history. Government-run health care. More wasteful spending. Who wants that again?’” Fund reports, “It worked. Republicans gained two seats in the Senate and lost only a handful in the House.”

It’s too early to resort to such a strategy now: McCain is running close to Obama in polls and leading in battleground states such as Ohio and Florida. But if Obama makes a slight bow to pro-life sentiment (and I would welcome such a move on his part), it’s not too early to think through Plan B.

With the final results of the Democrat primaries completed and the Super Delegates lined up behind Barrack Hussein Obama enough to assure his historic victory over the other contender for making history as the first female (and ex-first lady) to gain the nomination of a major political party, it’s now clear that the battle of the old white RINO and young charismatic liberal socialist African American will result in 2008 being the Year of the Black Man (or African American for those of you who are too PC to say “Black Man”).

It is my strongly held belief as a conservative, pro-life, pro-traditional marriage, pro-family, pro-creationism vs Darwinian Evolution believer that there is no way in God’s green earth that that old white guy, who would make history as the oldest first term President if he proves me wrong, can beat the young, in-experienced, eloquent and charismatic black man named Barrack Obama if his life depended on it, and it may because 72 year olds drop dead everyday of much less rigorous stress than running for President.

The national mood is that the masses are upset and tired and frustrated with the economy, the scandals and the long-drawn war on terrorism. Most Americans care more about the price of a gallon of gas or milk than they do about who is the next President of the United States of America. They vote on headlines and who looks and says the best sounding sound bites on radio and TV. Barrack Obama is the perfect candidate for the superficial thinkers and hurried voters who just tune in about two weeks before the national election to find out who is the “kindest, handsomest or most willing to give me entitlements to get my vote candidate on the TV or radio”. Some go further and read internet blogs to get their spoon fed opinions and reasons to vote for a particular candidate, regardless of what is the real truth about that or any candidate.

My daddy used to attribute this quote to Adlai Ewing Stevenson, Illinois governor (1948-1952), two-time Democratic presidential nominee (1952, 1956), United States who lost twice to Dwight D. Eisenhower (a man whom’s name is born on the USS which I served upon while in the USN): “Never overestimate the intelligence of the American voting public.” Or put another way “The masses are @**#*!” Americans have grown fat, greedy, self-absorbed, material focused and intellectually lazy when it comes to voting…a perfect recipe for Obama and the socialist press and news networks to win in 2008.

What can McCain do to counter all that? Well, he’s got a war record and a beautiful trophy wife…and that’s about it. The press and news networks will cream him for Obama and the old salt will fight like a man for his political life, but at the end of the day too many God-fearing, social conservative, First Amendment supporting, free-speech advocates, who are pro-life even when it comes to the funding of killing embryos for scientific research, Evangelicals and conservative Catholics will not leave the comfort of their home to go against their consciences to vote for the old man who sold us out with McCain-Fiengold, McCain-Liberman, McCain-Kennedy, McCain-Edwards, et. al., McCain is no conservative, no social conservative and certainly only a Republican In Name Only (RINO).

I was barely 18 when I voted for Ronald Reagan, Reagan again; George H.W. Bush twice; Dole once holding my nose; and George W. Bush twice. But John McCain, I don’t have a big enough hand to hold over my nose while voting for that old salt who would sell out his own party and the American people’s rights, to win popularity with the media.

Obama’s base is excited, some a little retarded and most greedy socialists who want their piece of the pork that the Democrats promised them. With one notable exception: the African Americans who do not care about his socialist, anti-baby, pro-Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgender agenda will come out with great hope and pride for the first African American who has aspired to become the most powerful man in the world. And, if not for my social and religious convictions, I would not blame them one bit for voting for one of their own. America could withstand eight years of Bill Clinton and we can withstand four of Barrack Obama. Our founding fathers gave us a very resilient Constitutional Republic and we can survive four to eight years of any one leader regardless of his political or social stripes.

What’s McCain got to counter that? He is a war hero. I do respect that. He would probably get us into another war with Iran or China within the first 120 days of office. He wants Ronald Reagan’s mantle so bad he can taste it. “John McCain, the man who defeated communism or jihadists in his presidency.”

Of course along the way, McCain will wreak havoc upon, dismantle and destroy the social conservative and Christian Evangelical and perhaps even the fiscal conservative legs of the Republican Party in his ascendancy and the Democrats will ride to victory with Obama in 2012. He beat Hillary, who else could challenge him for it in 2012?

No, the best thing for American is for Obama to do his four years and for the Republican Party to do some soul searching, self-assesment, determine who we are and what we stand for and then have a come-to-Jesus meeting with those RINOs and moderates who supported McCain (excepting of course the military hawks whom I can respect for supporting a military candidate) and reassert that the Republican Party, the party of Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush is the party of God-fearing Conservatives and we are sick and tired of those half-baked moderates who have risen to power because there were too many conservative candidates who divided our votes and left the only moderate with an R next to his name to win most states by a plurality until it was a fate ac comply that he would win against the last conservative man standing, Mike Huckabee…whom I hope is still around to clean up Obama or McCain’s mess in 2012.

About the only reason I could vote for McCain would be to defend America from the Communist and Jihadists threats to our country…but I sure ain’t going out in the rain to connect those lines on the ballot and you will never get me to advise anyone else to do it nor to admit it in public.

Publisher’s Note: This is a classic example of media bias specifically towards Christians and conservatives in general. Refer to the website: truthorfiction and you will read that this article is “Truth”. Refer to Snopes re the same story and you will read that it is “partly true” with lots of commentary by Snopes on why or what about this story or it’s presentation are false, without the qualification that it is in their opinion “partly false”! Anyway, when I read this testimony, I just had to share it with you. Wake Up America! Chuck

Begin quote of email and transcript re a young woman killed at Columbine’s, Rachel Scott’s father, Darrell Scott:

“Guess our national leaders didn’t expect this, hmm?

On Thursday, Darrell Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine High School shootings in Littleton, Colorado, was invited to address the House Judiciary Committee’s subcommittee. What he said to our national leaders during this special session of Congress was painfully truthful. They were not prepared for what he was to say, nor was it received well. It needs to be heard by every parent, every teacher, every politician, every sociologist, every psychologist, and every so-called expert! These courageous words spoken by Darrell Scott are powerful, penetrating, and deeply personal. There is no doubt that God sent this man as a voice crying in the wilderness. The following is a portion of the transcript:

“Since the dawn of creation there has been both good & evil in the hearts of men and women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher, and the other eleven children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers.

“The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain’s heart.

“In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRA - because I don’t believe that they are responsible for my daughter’s death. Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachel’s murder I would be their strongest opponent.

“I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy-it was a spiritual event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame lies here in this room. Much of the blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves. “I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings best. This was written way before I knew I would be speaking here today:

Your laws ignore our deepest needs, Your words are empty air. You’ve stripped away our heritage, You’ve outlawed simple prayer. Now gunshots fill our classrooms, And precious children die. You seek for answers everywhere, And ask the question “Why?” You regulate restrictive laws, Through legislative creed. And yet you fail to understand, That God is what we need!
“Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, soul, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and reek havoc. Spiritual presences were present within our educational systems for most of our nation’s history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What has happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine’s tragedy occurs - politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do not need more restrictive laws. “Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts. Political posturing and restrictive legislation are not the answers. The young people of our nation hold the key. There is a spiritual awakening taking place that will not be squelched! We do not need more religion. We do not need more gaudy television evangelists spewing out verbal religious garbage. We do not need more million dollar church buildings built while people with basic needs are being ignored. We do need a change of heart and a humble acknowledgment that this nation was founded on the principle of simple trust in God!

“As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes-He did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America, and around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer was brought back to our schools. Do not let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your God-given right to communicate with Him. To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA - I give to you a sincere challenge. Dare to examine your own heart before casting the first stone! My daughter’s death will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not allow that to happen!’”

This news that Huckabee is atop McCain’s VP list is according to US News and World Report Online:

http://www.usnews.com/blogs/capital-commerce/2008/5/12/source-huckabee-tops-mccains-veep-list.html

The only way I, as a social conservative and Bold Evangelical who is a grassroots activist in the GOP and have been since Reagan, could possibly justify voting for a ticket with McCain on it, would be if Huckabee were the VP. I would much rather have a Huckabee/McCain ticket. But a McCain/Huckabee ticket is a great long-term strategic ticket for the future of our family, faith and freedom. Just think: four years of McCain in return for eight of Huckabee as President of the United States of America! Huck would get the chance to get the foreign relations experience that his detractors say he lacks and then be ready in 2011 to run and get the nomination to be atop of the Huckabee/? ticket in 2012! That’s a strategy I can run with and work for victory.

In the May 6th, 2008 primary in NC, I voted for Huckabee, instead of McCain, because he’s the real conservative in the GOP. He’s not part of the elite, self-ordained nobility of the US Senators’ Club. He’s the real deal, he’s one of us. A true down to earth pro-family, pro-USA, pro-freedom, pro-helping those who have been cast aside by the greedy crowd on Wallstreet and their Country Club RINO crowld cheering them on, in their rush to fleece Americans for every penny they can through fraud and usury, in the perverted name of a capitalism that our Christian hero, Calvin, blessed Western Civilization and Christianity to embrace.

If Huckabee is the VP nominee, then I would swallow hard and work tiresly to win for brother Mike Huckabee. Because the best possible outcome is that the old guy would only serve a single term and then Mike Huckabee would get the respect he deserves and America would be blessed with a God fearing, ex-Governor who has a record of strong support for our social values, life, marriage, family, faith and freedom.

Last night I was in shock and awe at the overwhelming victories that a licentious libertarian come lately to the GOP, many moderate to liberal Republicans and most all Democrats achieved in the day’s elections across NC. Monday was my birthday and so I could not get out to any precincts until 3:30 AM on Tuesday, election day.

What I saw spoke volumes about the lack of organization among some Republican and conservatives’ campaigns, the zealous activity of the Libertarians who have invaded our party to get elected–since they failed to get their own party recognized by the state of NC–and the overwhelming hyper-activity of the partisan NCAE teachers’ union on behalf of their bedfellows in the Democrat Party. I hit the first polls at 3:30 AM and by the time they opened at 6:30 I had worked my way through some 20 precincts in Fuquay Varina, Holly Springs, Apex, Raleigh and Cary. I was placing signs for Augustus Cho for Congress, Fred Smith for Governor and John M. Tyson for NC Court of Appeals judge. As the polls opened I made my way through Morrisville to Briar Creek, Bethesda and Durham, even going so far as Wake Forest in the north.

What I observed was that the libertarians’ candidate had effectively placed his signs in about 80% of the precincts in Southern Wake County, and about two-thirds of the ones in Cary, Apex and Morrisville; but that they missed over half of the precincts in Durham County, especially those in mostly black or African American precincts.

By the time of 6:30, when the polls opened, I was in Western Wake County on my way to Briar Creek and Durham. I observed that at about three out of four of the precincts in Wake County and in almost every Durham County precinct, with one single exception, that there was one party represented by poll workers…the Democrats. Most of them were the teachers’ union, NCAE, representatives. I met and had small talk regarding politics with about 30 poll workers at over 20 precincts in Wake and Durham Counties, and only one was a Republican, a Huckabee or Keyes supporter as I recall.

The NCAE and another teachers’ union, I have the cards still in my car, gave every voter coming in to vote a card that listed all of their endorsements from President to Governor and from State Superintendent of Public Instruction down to the judges and city councils…without exception, including the page handed out by the Durham Committee on the Affairs of Black People (apparently only liberal black people) every single piece if electioneering literature that I received was to endorse voting for Democrats! The Republican party, including libertarians, had absolutely nobody handing out any literature at any of the 25 polling places I visited between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM yesterday! The Durham poll worker who was supporting either Huckabee or Keyes, was the only Republican handing out any literature at any of the precincts. His was just a candidate comparison and did not even ask people to vote for Keyes or Huckabee!

If the NC Republican Party and conservatives with in the party during primaries, is ever going to become the party and the movement of power, we have got to learn to work the precincts on election days! Last January I worked in the Columbia, SC area for Mike Huckabee in the final days leading up to that state’s presidential primary. While standing at one polling place during the last hour of a long day’s campaigning for Mike Huckabee, I had about 10 or 12 procrastinators come in to vote. Of them, about eight or ten when asked “Have you made up your mind about who to vote for for President” said “No”! When I asked them, while holding a Huckabee sign and some of his literature, “May I share with you why I support Governor Huckabee?” said “Yes.” After talking with them for anywhere from two to ten minutes, about six out of the eight, said something like “Thanks!, I’m glad you were here. I will be voting for Huckabee.” That was after a year of a national campaign!

What did I learn? Voters, even primary voters, will feel compelled, perhaps guilty, to vote; but they are too busy or too lazy or there’s too much smoke and mirrors in the sound bites for them to decide who to trust, for them to decide who to vote for until they arrive at the voting place. I had college educated men and women, white middle class and middle aged blue collar workers, young mothers, at least one businessman and a couple of members of the military tell me words to the effect of “I’m just going to go into the voting booth and toss a coin.”

Now that you know why the Democrats and NCAE turn out their poll workers, perhaps you will be motivated in November 2008 to go hold a John McCain sign…or maybe not! Pick your candidate or candidates and work to get them elected.

Now, as to last night…there were a lot of reasons why the conservatives in the GOP and our judges lost in the partisan and so-called “non-partisan judicial” races. Hillary and Obama gave 1 million new Democrat voters a reason to come to the polls and vote. It was just plain black and white, man versus woman. Oh, here’s what one 24 year old, college educated, Democrat poll worker told me: I asked her “Hillary or Obama?” and She replied “Well I’m ambivalent, but since Hillary’s got a vagxxx, I guess I’ll vote for her.” And, she didn’t even blush when she stated it to a middle-aged, white man after having just met me two minutes prior! Where is the shame and humility, where is the sense of moral decency among our young people?!

Oh, by the way, on the other side of the isle, we had John McCain at the top of the ticket and we all saw how much of the base, let alone new voters he motivated to vote in the Republican primary! It’s our party’s lack of grassroots activists and the top of the ticket to blame for yesterday’s results. But that’s just the informed opinion of one conservative Republican activists who happens to host a radio, TV and internet blog in his spare time. May God have mercy on America and may we all re-examine what we stand for, what we are willing to swallow, how much we will tolerate and what we will take a stand for in our families, lives, churches, schools, conservative movement, party and country.

Dear Mr. BJ Lawson,

What a great joy it is to finally hear from you!

I’ve been somewhat disappointed that you have ignored my on air pleas, both radio and TV, to call in and defend yourself before my viewers and listeners on Time Warner Cable channel 10, RTN-10; and WPJL 1240-AM, Chuck Campbell Show, the New Home of Conservative Talk Radio in the greater Triangle area. I am sure you have the numbers as your supporters have been calling WPJL demanding that I be fired for being a so-called “homophobic bigot” and they’ve also been posting threats right on this blog to sue me for slander and liable.

I am delighted that you have the intestinal fortitude to debate your ideas online, if not on air. BTW, I believe that you still owe me a couple of phone calls too! LOL!

OK, to your first point:

1) The 18th Amendment was not amended to eliminate the Prohibition Act, they had to Amend the Constitution to pass the 21st Amendment to end Prohibition. So you, can’t get away with an attempt to appease your 10th Amendment (NOT Commandment) supporters by claiming to to be “amending the 14th Amendment” to take away birthright citizenship from what Ron Paul and you refer to as “anchor babies”; while simultaneously appeasing the racists supporters in your camp by targeting the Hispanic mothers and their babies for federal intervention into their families.

Finally, re your moral anarchy proposal to end the war on drugs by giving government sanction and approval to drug abuse, I think we all can appreciate the difference here: banning all alcohol rose to the level of a Constitutional Amendment, the 18th; every state, as well as the Feds, have laws against drug abuse.

How much worse would it get if there were no laws restraining unrepentant man’s evil nature? Look to the Netherlands and Amsterdam for your answer…addiction and abuse reign! Compare it to smoking tobacco before the Tobacco Taliban on the left attacked people’s rights to smoke in this country…with government and social approval, behavior degenerates unless there are social morays and laws to restrain and punish such wreckless behaviors.

(editor’s note: I am an alcoholic and battle that demon every day of my life. My father was an alcoholic and I am of Irish descent; but have not touched a drop, by the Grace of God, for 29 months. Thanks also to the Christ Centered, Celebrate Recovery program).

2) “BJ”, is that a pun? You again document evidence by your own words that you are a moral anarchist and a licentious libertarian. Pedophilia is a private association, so are Gay Lesbian, Bi-Sexual and Transgender (GSBT). Do you also support tolerance of such private actions? How about rape and burning of crosses on private property? Do you propose that the Feds look the other way on all criminal activity that does not involve “involuntary, bodily harm and physical damage”. OK, so Libertarians have some good points, many of which I share on the economy, but it’s not about the money it’s about protecting innocent children and our wives from the onslaught of societal moral decay…which affects and infects us all.

By your own words you demonstrate that my moniker for you as a “Licentious Libertarian” is accurate. While Libertarians do have some good conservative economic policies, many of which I agree with, you are near total failures on social policy to protect children and the innocent from sexual predators, pedophiles and the Gay Lesbian Bi-Sexual and Transgender movement which has taken control in the Democrat party and is obviously aided and abetted by you Licentious Libertarians who run as Ron Paul Republicans.

At least you support the Republican Party platform to pass the Human Life Amendment, as does Ron Paul.

BTW, rape and incest are also usually done in unobservable areas, as is poligamy. Should we look the other way on those crimes too?

3) I believe you are referring to the effects of the XVI Amendment and it’s excesses. Yes, I agree big government spending by both Democrats and Republicans is destroying our economic freedom.

However, as the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King wrote in his letter from an Alabama jail, “Morality can not be legislated, but behavior can be regulated. Judicial decrees may not change a person’s heart, but they do restrain the heartless.”

4) According to Dr. Laura Schlessenger, “What you are willing to tolerate defines your own character.” I agree with Dr. Laura and the Bible, please refer to Leveticus 18:22 “Man shall not lie with a man as a man lies with a woman for it is a detestable sin to God.” Also, Roman’s Chapter One where Paul says that “Because of the hardness of their hearts, God gave them over to unnatural affections for one another. Man for man and woman for woman.” Those last two can be found in that Bible that you recommend others read, or is that just you using a reference to the Bible for political expediency?

5) I served 10 years in the US Navy and Naval Reserve. I have a lot of friends in the military and have read many books on the Jihadists and Al Qeada including the 9/11 Commission Report. What have you read and who are your authorities? The Islamo Fascists attacked us first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and on and on (under President Bill Clinton) until President George W. Bush finally had the manhood and Churchhillian guts and vision to send the US Military to battle to defend Americans and liberate the people of Afghanistand and Iraq from the Taliban (talk about religious threats) from bloodthirsty dictators who killed their own people for political power and Muslim evangelization, aka, jihad. Oh yea, Michael Scheuer is a Clinton Democrat, American hating appointee with an ax to grind, he was fired by Bush.

6) Governor, Reverend, God fearing conservative Christian brother Mike Huckabee did not make that claim, you are confusing him with that nut job Libertarian come to the Republican Party to get elected, Ron Paul. I was with Mike Huckabee in SC and he specifically denied and denounced that foolish, racists proposal as a lie.

7) Are you forgetting that you are a 10th Amendment zealot who does not think that the federal government should be involved in personal decisions like where and when to have babies? Your proposal is racist and will result in creating an Orwellian, Facist state and become a pro generator for increased abortions. Margaret Sangor, founder of Planned Parenthood and an avowed racists and Socialist, would be proud of you.

BTW, most other countries do not have a Constitutional Republic either. America sets the standard we do not, unless you are a judicial activist on a federal court or the US Supreme Imperialist Court take our cues from Europe or any other country. We’re born in the USA and that makes us all Americans!

What the Ron Paul proposal that you are advocating, although you denied that it was relevant to the US Congressional race at the BNC when I asked you that specific question a couple of weeks ago, would result in a federal government bureaucrat examining not just all birth certificates, but also the “papers” of every parent, and maybe grand parents too, to determine whether they are entitled to be Americans. That includes your grandchildren and mine too. No federal agency would take any parents’ word that they are Americans without demanding documentation of proof. You would eliminate birthright citizenship for all Americans.

Now, I have a question for you, again?

Do you support a Constitutional Amendment to protect the traditional definition of marriage as between one man and one woman?

Or are you still advancing the agenda of the Gay Lesbian Bi-Sexual Transgender (GLBT) and pedophiles (NAMBLA) of America by permitting an open door for the judicial activists courts to strike down the statutory laws of some 47 states that define marriage as between one man and one woman because now that your duplicity of amending the Constitution to deny birthright citizenship is exposed, your lame obstensive excuse of the 10 Amendment restricting the federal government from passing a Marriage Amendment is not fooling anyone.

Do you remember when your bloggers started threatening to sue me for liable and slander for calling them gay and you called me to ask me to ease up on you and not print some of my commentaries on your positions? I have the cell phone records documented if you forget. When I asked if you approved of your supporter’s threat to sue me and that he had said that “Chuck must be afraid that he wants to have sex with men.” you replied “Chuck, it’s the wild west out there.” Well, welcome to the debate and I hope you have your rhetorical six shooter ready, because I an unloading all of my rhetorical ammo on your wolf-in-sheep’s clothing and deceitful ways of pretending to be a conservative Christian political candidate. You do not speak for social conservatives, and as I told you at the BNC a couple of weeks ago, you are no friend of the family!

I am Chuck Campbell and I live in the Raleigh, Wake County, NC area and I invite all of you to listen to me daily on WPJL 1240-AM from 4-5 PM each Monday thru Friday, and on Time Warner Cable channel 10, RTN-10 live every Thursday night from 7 to 8 PM and re-runs on Friday at 1 PM and Wednesday at 7 PM, as I expose the lies and hypocrisy of politicians and take a stand in the culture war from America to return us to our founding fathers’ and mothers’ America where the Judeo-Christian worldview and respect for God’s Word, the Bible and truth are our best guarantee of freedom and liberty, but not licentiousness.

The only thing worse than not voting on May 6th, 2008 is to vote in ignorance by just taking at face value the words of any political candidate, regardless of their party affiliation or lip service to being Christian or conservative. Educate yourselves, do the research, question the candidates, don’t just take my word or any radio talk show hosts’ word for it, do your own homework and then cast an informed vote for the candidates which best represent your worldview and expectations.

Editor’s note: I have endorsed Augustus Cho for Congress, in the upcoming May 6th, 2008 Republican primary because he will protect marriage and children from the GLBT and NAMBLA designs on getting government validation of their deviant lifestyles and then coming into our schools with their re-education agenda to spread their sexual propaganda to our children and then, because they can not reproduce, recruit our children into moral licentiousness.

Just like SB 777 mandated, and signed by the RINO Gov. Schwarzenegger, which mandates that GLBT must be taught in all K-12 government schools in CA as valid and acceptable, even normal. The ADF, ACLJ, David Gibbs III, HSLDA and many other legal scholars have agreed that the terms “Mother, father, husband and wife” are homophobic as defined by SB 777 and can not be used nor printed in the school text books of CA. That would be the books that the publishers print for their largest customer, CA and then ship to our kids’ schools right here in NC and across America. God have mercy on us for our licentious ways.

Augustus Cho is pro-life and supports protecting the unborn from the abortionists death chambers. He also takes a stand to defend America against Chinese and Russian Communists aggression, as well as, the Jihadists threat to our lives, freedoms and Western Civilization. He has promised to do whatever a single congressman can to end big government, wasteful spending and excessive taxation.

Mr. Cho is a graduate of Sanderson HS, UNC CH (economics) and Westminister Seminary in Philadelphia, PA.

This little boy lives in my community, our community. Whether he knows Jesus or not and whether his parents are God fearing Christians or not, the platform that the LORD Almighty, Jesus and the Holy Spirit have given to me are from the same God who sends his rain upon the believer and unbeliever alike. So I can do no less in stewardship of what He has entrusted to me.

Please tune into the Chuck Campbell Show on WPJL AM-1240 on Thursday or Friday when I will talk to one of Jack’s parents or other spokesperson. I will be in Greensboro for another convention, but I urge my friends, neighbors, blog readers and listeners to please minister in love to these dear children of God…remembering the words of the brother of Jesus:

The founder of Focus on the Family, has given his personal endorsement for re-election to an NC judge who has sat on the NC Court of Appeals for the past eight years, Judge John M. Tyson.

The letter from Dr. James C. Dobson, Ph.D. reads:

“I seldom make political endorsements, but it is with a sense of great urgency that I announce my support for Judge John Tyson in the May 6th primary for the North Carolina Court of Appeals. It is imperative that Judge John Tyson be re-elected to keep our families safe from dangerous criminals and those who would have judges legislate from the bench”

“Judge Tyson has served North Carolinians extraordinarily well during his first term on the Court. Not only is he respected for his legal acumen - having authored the majority opinion for nearly 900 cases - but he has also upheld the conservative legal philosophy and the moral values that you and I hold dear. Good evidence of that is found in his opinions that defended the sanctity of marriage from attacks by liberals. In so doing, he also upheld the authority of the North Carolina legislators - rather than judges - to establish policy for the state.”

“Electing principled (sic) judges with the highest level of integrity is among the most important things that we can do as concerned citizens. That’s why I am asking you, in my capacity as a private citizen and not as a representative of the organization that I lead, to vote for Judge Tyson to the Court of Appeals on May 6th and again for the general election on November 4th (sic).”

“Sincerely”

James C. Dobson, Ph.D.”

You may find out more about Judge Tyson at his website: www.JudgeJohnTyson.com

Judge Tyson was my guest on the Chuck Campbell Show on WPJL 1240-AM, Raleigh’s Christian Radio and the New home of Conservative Talk Radio in the Capital City on Monday, April 14th, 2008 AD, in the year of our Lord. The podcast of that interview are available, or soon will be, at www.podcasts.chuckcampbellshow.com
